I’ve been working with and developing leaders for the better part of four decades. I have worked with and helped train, teach, mentor, and coach leaders at every organizational level, from CEOs to first-time supervisors who were new to the leadership experience. Through my work with them they have first taken tiny, tenuous baby steps, then more confident ones, to sometimes giant leaps along their journeys as leaders of people. Some of them have grown into superb leaders, surpassing their own expectations, while others have become students of leadership themselves, knowing they learn best by teaching. Still others have reluctantly accepted their roles and enjoyed success.
